Farmhouse, now house. Early C17, extended late c17/early C18 with later additions and alterations. Roughcast slate-stone and cob; graded slate roof. Original central through-passage house extended to left in late C17/early C18. Two storeys. Original part has 3 late C20 plastic casements in earlier openings to first floor and one to either side of central half-glazed door under Cl9 flat-roofed open porch with carved wooden posts. Extension to left has 3 plastic casements directly below eaves with another to ground-floor left and plastic French windows to centre and right. External end stack with red brick top to right of C17 part and red brick ridge stack (formerly an end stack) at junction with addition, slightly later lean-to to rear on right of main part. Interior: Right ground-floor of C17 part has chamfered joists with roughly carved stops (qv Moonhills) and floor boards of room above visible; inglenook fireplace with granite jambs, chamfered wood lintel and 2 cloam ovens, small fixed-light window in back wall next to staircase looks into lean-to. Left room has partly infilled open fireplace with cloam oven and wood lintel brought from elsewhere in late C20. Collar truss roof in 8 bays. Addition much altered late C20 but has collar truss roof visible on first floor to 6ft.
