GV II
Terrace of 7 houses. c1840. Limestone ashlar, party wall stacks, roof not visible. Late Georgian with Greek Revival details. Each of 3 storeys and basement; 2-window range. A stepped terrace, divided by tall sunken panels at the party walls, with banded ground floor to a plat band, incised cornice line and moulded parapet coping. Each has a central doorway with a rectangular overlight and 2-panel door, and 6/6-pane sashes, smaller on the second floor, with fine bars and an incised line all round terminating in a Greek key stop. INTERIOR: No.7 has a central hall, and rear lateral dogleg winder stair with stick balusters and large octagonal newel, panelled doors and shutters, and foliate cornice. An uncommon terrace design with incised decoration.
