Nos 5 to 39 (odd), the Drinking Fountain, the Parish Church of St Mary and the raised pavement at the east end of Hart Street, form a group associated with Nos 2 to 8 (even) Nos 14 to 36 (even) including Adam House and Nos 40, 44 (including gates and piers) 48, No 50, The Old School House and the Rectory Garden Wall opposite. Nos 25 and 27 shall be amended to read No 27

2. Early C18 facade to earlier building. Grey and red brick with red window dressings. Eastern bay, roughcast. Eaves cornice and old tiled roof. 2 storeys, 4 sash windows; 2 with glazing bars. Ground floor, western side has C19 shop front with additional side door with fluted architrave, panelled door and reveals, the whole under cornice with end stops and pilasters. Eastern side has carriageway arch with timber framing exposed in side wall.
