Pair of houses. Mid C19. Brick, stuccoed. Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys and basement. 4 bays arranged 1.2.1 with central breakforward. Entrances to side bays approached by steps. 4-panel doors with overlights in architraves under cornice on corbels. Canted bay to No 53. Sash windows, mostly with glazing bars/margin lights, in architraves. Pediments on consoles to ground floor windows, cornices to 1st floor. Blind boxes to some windows. Sill bands. Overhanging hipped roof with eaves brackets.
