Details

ASHOVER Haslehurst Farmhouse SK36NW 1264-0/5/4 II Farmhouse. C17 with C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Coursed rubble gritstone with ashlar dressings, coped gables with moulded kneelers, ridge and gable ashlar chimneys, and a Welsh slated roof. South-east elevation of two storeys and three bays, with a central doorway with massive jambs and lintel, now enclosed by C20 gabled porch. To the south-west of the doorway, a 2-light chamfered mullioned window, to the south-east a 2-light and a 3-light chamfered mullioned window, all with glazing bar casements. Above the doorway, a gabled dormer with copings, and a 2-light chamfered mullioned window. North-east gable with a C20 3-light casement, which has replaced a bay window. 2-light chamfered mullioned window to first floor. 2- storey gabled range to rear elevation, in regularly coursed gritstone blocks. Single-storey outhouse attached at south-west end, with a single window opening and a boarded door.
