GV II
Formerly known as: Demesnes Mill Farm GRAY LANE. Stable and loft to mill. Probably mid-late C18. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings; roof of graduated stone slates with stone ridge. Cast-iron tie plates. One:2 storeys, 1:2 bays to lane; 3 storeys to river. North elevation to lane has boarded Dutch doors in left and right end bays, and boarded door in second bay. Left door has plain reveals and flat stone lintel; central door plain stone surround; right door has irregular block jambs and flat stone lintel. Flat stone lintels to windows flanking central door with 4-pane lower section and upper part blocked at left, and with hit-and-miss vents at right. Boarded loading door on first floor above central door; smaller loading door above right door. 2 cast-iron tie plates at right. Gables have through stones, and slit vent in right return gable peak. South elevation to river has through stones; flat stone lintel over boarded door at left, 2-pane segmental-arched window at right on first floor, and 2 second-floorboarded openings with 3-pane top lights. INTERIOR: not inspected.
