SZ48SE POUND LANE 1354-0/9/338 Stables to South West of Wolverton Manor

GV II

Stables. Early C17 altered in C19 and reroofed in C20. Built of ironstone rubble with Island stone dressings. Roof now covered in corrugated iron sheeting. 1 storey and attics in gable end. North east elevation has 2 stone mullioned windows, 1 ground floor wooden diamond mullioned window and 2 obtusely pointed stone doorways. North west elevation has deep plinth and blocked mullioned windows. South west elevation has 2 obtusely pointed stone doorways and 3 brick openings. South east elevation has double mullioned window with hood mould to gable and triple mullioned window to ground floor. Interior has a brick and timber framed partition with lath and plaster above and some C19 wooden stall partitions.
