2 shops and office. C15 open hall-house refronted in C18 and with C18 L-wing added to rear. Timber-framed building, the front clad in Flemish bond brickwork, the side elevation stuccoed on painted brick and stone plinth. Steeply pitched plain tiled roof. 2 storeys 3 windows. 1st floor has 3 12-pane sashes in moulded archtitraves with rubbed brick arches. Ground floor has C20 shopfronts. Right side elevation has C20 dormer and 1 sliding casement. No 84 has roll-moulded dais beam and C18 open fireplace with entrance to bread oven and round-headed stoking hole. No 84A has crown post of square section with 2 head braces to collar beam. Jowled upright posts. No 86 has spine beam with lin chamfer and lamb's tongue stop.
