House. C17, later extended to the left.
MATERIALS: coursed limestone rubble; thatched roof with
stepped stone copings and stone stacks to right gable end and
to the ridge at right-of-centre.
PLAN: 2-unit plan extended to the left to make 3-unit plan
with rear wing to the right.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 2-window range. A moulded string course
between the floors extends from the right quoin to the C20
shallow-pitched tiled gabled porch to the right of the ridge
stack; C19 six-panel door with 3 long glazed panels to the
top. The first floor has C19 paired 4/4-pane sashes at eaves
level, one above the ground-floor right, which has a C20 tall
3-light leaded window, and one above C20 French windows to the
left; to the far left is an C18 three-light leaded casement
with H hinges under a wooden lintel.
The rear a has C20 four-light casement to the first floor and
a 5-light to the ground floor. The later rear wing, has
various C20 casements, mostly leaded, and two 6/6-pane sashes
to the first floor.
INTERIOR not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: spearheaded railings with urn finials
attached to the right, border the front garden on the east
side and meet a high limestone rubble wall to the front where
there are C20 double gates.
