Barn. C19, probably earlier origins, some C20 modernisation. Plastered red cob on stone rubble footings with some stone rubble and concrete repairs; hipped thatch roof. PLAN: Barn built down the hillslope facing north west. Central opposing doors to former threshing floor, rear door now to secondary lean-to extension. EXTERIOR: Nearly full-height large doorways to the threshing floor and smaller doorway in left (north-east) end. INTERIOR: Open to 4-bay roof of king post trusses. This barn and the other buildings of the farmyard form part of an exceptionally attractive group of listed buildings in an unspoilt village and the adjoining Cockington Park.
