Hotel. C18, restored C20, with C18 style front. Render; hipped roof with old plain tiles; rendered lateral stacks. 3 storeys; 5-window range: 3 late C19 3/6 sashes, flanked by canted bays with 2/4: 3/6: 2/4: sashes; modillioned stone cornice; central Venetian window with 2/4: 6/6: 2/4: sashes under foliate swags, flanked by 3/6 sashes; central cambered open pediment, flanked by plain pediments; moulded eaves. Central entrance: margin-glazed double-doors and swagged fanlight, in moulded roundheaded case, flanked by canted bays with 2/4: 3/6: 2/4: sashes, all under moulded hood with balcony and spat-balusters; further canted bays; Corinthian pilasters. Right returned side: returned cornice and eaves-detail; buttress stack. Wing to rear with 2 leaded-light sashes, under gauged brick flat arches. Left returned side: rubble to rear; 6/6 sash; oak post and plate. Rear: roughcast. Rear wing with apsidal lean-to.
