Attached house, now shop and offices. 1763. By Thomas Paty. Brick with limestone dressings, right-hand brick lateral stack with double hipped pantile roof. Double-depth plan. Mid Georgian style. 4 storeys; 3-window range. A C20 shop front has right-hand doorway, recessed shop doorway and plate-glass window. Pilaster strips to a cornice and parapet; 5 stepped voussoirs to plate-glass sashes and second-floor casements. INTERIOR not inspected. Part of Paty's rebuilding of the city centre. (Gomme A: Street Index of Buildings of Architectural or Historic Interest: 30).
