CAPEL C.P. TEMPLE LANE TQ 14SE 8/111 Nos 1, 2 and 3 Rushetts and Rushetts Cottage II

House, now extended and divided. C16, with C19 and C20 extensions. Timber framed, clad to rear on extensions in red brick, red brick infill to some exposed frame, whitewashed rendered infill to first floor rear, brick and tile hung extensions and cladding to front ends. Whitewashed brick cladding on rear of extension. Plain tiled roof extending in catslide over extensions, right hand return front pitch of Horsham slabs. Original entrance front now to rear. Three framed bay house with later cross wing to south, further extensions to left. Elevation facing lane:- Two storeys to left with one 2-light and flanking single light windows to first floor, two windows below. Gabled dormer to left of centre, continuous fenestration to ground floor left of centre, leaded window right of centre to right of old oven. Gabled dormer to right of centre,over set-back ground floor with two windows. One first floor and two ground floor windows in gable ends to right. Multiple stacks, C17, to centre under corbelled top, further stack to left side of wing in angle. Left hand return front:- (North) pentice extension to ground floor, C17 stack to end. Queen-post truss above. Old entrance front:- Three diamond-pane leaded casements to first floor at angle with brick clad C19 range projecting to left. One ground floor window to right. Pentice porch with stable- style door in end in angle of two ranges.
