2. C18 house on this site remodelled in early C19. Main front faces south, coach arch to cobbled yard facing East Street. 2 storey, stucco fronted, except for C18 core which is cobble faced with brick dressings, quoins and upper courses. This part has a later bow with 3 sash windows per floor, and hipped slate roof and a lower 2 storey wing to the left, which is joined by a later 3 window extension to the East Street front. Sash windows. Main front has attic of 4 unevenly spaced paired dormers and 8 sash windows. Moulded eaves cornice. Parapetted gable ends and kneelers. Blank plaque between 2nd and 3rd windows of 1st floor. Ground floor has flat roofed projection of 5 bays on left hand side with central Doric entrance. The return to Goda Road is lower, rendered and has a projecting entrance and lobby divided into 4 bays by pilasters. 2 storey canted bay on left with glazing bar sashes. Stable entrance on East Street: stucco. Cambered coach arch on rusticated piers continued above as plain pilasters flanking blind window with keystone. Eaves band. Hipped slate roof. Plain stucco building to the right with moulded quoins and a brick modillion eaves cornice.
