House, now inn. C17 core to mid-C19 refacing. Painted brick; tiled roof; end stack to right and ridge stack to left; single-storey and attic, 3-window front; stepped eaves; one gabled dormer set to right of centre; 3-light small-pane casement windows; segmental heads to ground floor with non-fitting shutters; Boarded door set to right of dormer.
INTERIOR: of 3 bays exposed timber framed trusses to attic. Chamfered firehood beam and chamfered ceiling beams to room in right of entrance. The inn marks and emphasises the village centre linking the buildings around the church with the lower village.
