II
House. C17, with C18 and C19 extensions, restored in C20. Timber framed, clad in galleted sandstone rubble and slabs to left with red brick and tile hanging to right range. Plain tiled roofs. Two storeys with double gable ends to new entrance front; original entrance front now on right hand return wall. New entrance - Large tile hung gable to right with stack on the front. Pentice porch to base of stack. Diamond-pane leaded casement fenestration, 3 windows on first floor, 3 windows below. Smaller gable to centre, middle sized gable to left. Hip-roofed, part weatherboarded porch to left, single storey with door in right hand return wall. Right hand return front (old entrance) - galleted sandstone footings and brown brick cladding. Three windows to first floor, outer ones 2-light, centre one 5-light. Three windows to ground floor under cambered heads. Glazed door to right of centre. Massive corbelled stack to rear right of centre, tile hung stack to right. Left hand return front - plinth and plat band over ground floor. Galleted sandstone rubble with brick quoins and dressings. Tile hung gables. Two windows on each floor. Interior:- some wall and ceiling frames visible.
