3/185 St. Catherine's 1/5/53 Priory and Cottages adjoining to north.
GV II
House with cottages to north. C18 to south, late C16/early C17 to north. St Catherines Priory:- Whitewashed roughcast over brick with hipped, plain tiled roof. Two storeys with stack to rear left. Two,2-light windows across the first floor with Gothick arched heads, the centre window leaded; canted bay to left under hip roof. Canted bay windows to ends of ground floor with sash fenestration. Central door in gabled brick porch with chamfered entrance arch. Cottages to north:- Late C16 to left end. Timber framed clad to front in whitewashed brick with galleted sandstone to rear. Plain tiled roofs, stepping down to left, with tile hung gable ends and dormers. Stack to front left on end cottage and further stack at junction of two ranges. Three windows on the first floor, two on the left hand cottage and one to right; all under eaves gables. Three windows on ground floor, that to right with a cambered head. Door under a transom light at the junction of the cottages; further door in wing to rear.
