House, possibly for iron master. C17. Timber framed, clad in galleted Bargate rubble below, brick above with wall plate exposed under plain tiled roof. Weatherboard range to left. Two storeys with end stack to left; further stack to rear. Plinth and plat band to ground floor. Four small plain case- ment windows to first floor, three below including one 4-light window in brick dressings. Door to left of centre. One window in link with weatherboarded range. Door to left end. Right hand return front:- incised render in gable, one window on each floor under tiled pentice hood on braces. Interior:- chamfered spine beam on ceilings, partition frames on walls.
