Details
BRI6STOCK HALL HILL SP9485 (West side) 15/59 No.10 and attached outbuilding GV II
Public house, now house. C17, raised late C18, extended C19. Regular coursed limestone with concrete tile roof. 2-unit plan with carriage arch to right. 2 storeys. 4-window range of 2- and 3-light C19 casements under wood lintels. C20 door has C19 wood surround with flat hood. Carriage arch, in bay to far right, is later build and has plank doors under wood lintel. Ashlar gable parapet and kneelers, on line of party wall, to left and brick stacks with ashlar plinths to right and end. Late C18, two storey, outbuilding attached to rear has weatherboarded front. Interior of house has ceiling beams, blocked C17 window to left of entrance and upper cruck roof construction. Formerly the Golden Lion public house. Included for group value.
