GV II*

House. Circa 1620. Red brick on sandstone plinth with plain tiled roof above. Two storeys with arched panels on end ridge stacks, larger double arched stack offset to end light. Plat band over ground floor and first floor, roof raised. Regular front with six "cross" leaded casement windows on first floor, three windows to ground floor right. One large three-light leaded casement to ground floor left in place of two former windows now blocked. All under gauged brick heads. Gabled two storey entrance porch to left of centre with carved bargeboards. Casement window to first floor under rubbed brick pediment with thin brick dentils. Arched entrance to ground floor under label moulding and string course. Ribbed and studded C17 door. C19/C20 lower single storey wing to rear right at right angles to front. Attic storey under hipped roof through eaves dormer to rear, irregular fenestration.

Interior: considerable partition framing visible.
