House, now hairdressers. Probably late C16, altered. Timber frame with brick infill, brick and rubblestone, painted at front; plain tile roof. Road front: ground floor underbuilt in brick and rubblestone with a C20 glazed door on left of C20 shop window of two large panes. Jettied first floor has close-studded timber framing, the brick infill laid herring-bone in some panels; small-pane casement windows of two lights to left and three lights to right. Roof half-hipped on right with brick end stack. Right return of C19 brick in Flemish bond with jowled wall posts at corners. Rear: ground-floor masked by C20 addition; small-panelled timber-framing to first floor with one straight brace to wall-plate and a two-light small-pane window.

Interior: large-scantling chamfered cross-beams with stepped stops to ground floor, and in former rear wall a two-light, small-paned casement window. On first floor wall posts arch-braced to central tie-beam which has small mortices in soffit from former partition.
