House, now school. Mid Cl7, extended in Early C18, late C18 and C20. Brick clad in colourwashed pebbledash on colourwashed, rendered plinth; C20 plain tiled roof, hipped in parts. Central rectangular block with hipped roof range projecting at right angles to left, single storey extensions to right end. Two storeys and attics to centre and left. Front end stack with dentilled "shoulders", ridge stack to left of centre and end stack to right; further stacks to rear and right. Central range set back: plat band over ground floor, dentilled eaves above. 2 hip roofed casement dormers. Regular 5 bay front with sash windows under rendered, keystoned heads. Diamond pattern glazing bars and margin lights. Central window on first floor, arched with impost blocks. Fine central doorcase in Greek Revival, fluted,Doric half-columned porch, columns smooth on lower third, and resting on pedestal plinths. Triglyph and guttae freize to shallow flat hood. 5-panel door under traceried transome light with roundel, diamond and central, triple arcade, in the tracery bars. Projecting wing to left: 2 windows on ground floor, and one window above, breaking into dentilled eaves of stack. Single storey range to right with gable to end adjacent to house. One 3-light,keystoned,casement window. Irregular casement fenestration to right. Left hand return front: 2 hipped roof projecting bays, 12-pane glazing bar sash windows to each bay, 2 ground floor angle bay windows with tripartite sashes. Central ground floor window with "spiders web" tracery.
