2/74 The Old Vicarage 21-7-51 (formerly listed as the Vicarage)

House formerly vicarage. Probably early and mid C18, much remodelled early C19. Pale red and buff brick with some flared headers to ground floor. Welsh slate low-pitch hipped roof with brick ridge and end stacks. Stone plinth in part, that to service range to left much higher. This range, probably early C18 appears to have been much extended to right mid C18 and this new main range extended and raised early C19. 2 Storeys. 6 - window range in all of 2 - and 3 - light casements mostly under cambered brick arches. Similar casements on ground floor to left, and to right a brick porch with moulded frieze and cornice beads to 6 - panel door. A 16 - pane sash either side. Right side is blank except for 9 - pane window. The side and rear to left have C20 windows and alterations. Main garden front is a 3 - window range of 16 - pane sashes either side a 12 - pane, over a canted bay with glazing bars either side a central door within an elaborate cast-iron porch. Interior not inspected.
