House, now shop. Late C18, remodelled internally c.1840. Red brick with
yellow/grey sandstone ashlar dressings. Slate mansard roof. 3 storeys
and attic. Moulded stone cornice above shop-front, moulded cornice with
blocking course, and parapeted gable ends with stone copings. Integral
brick end stacks with moulded stone cornices. Pair of dormers with C20
casements and segmental pediments. 3 bays; glazing bar sashes with stone
cills and moulded-stone architraves. First-floor sashes with continuous
cill, continuous frieze and cornice, set-back between, and with
segmental pediment to centre. Late C20 plate-glass shop-front. 6-
panelled door set back to left. Interior: altered c.1840. Moulded
plaster cornices. 4-panelled doors and windows with panelled shutters.
Doors, windows and fireplaces have moulded architraves with roundels at
corners. Rectangular-well staircase, rising 2 floors, with winders, closed
string, circular stick balusters, and swept handrail, wreathed to columnular
foot newel. 3 arches to first-floor landing.
