PITMINSTER CP ST22SW POUNDISFORD 6/138 Barton Lodge II Lodge to Barton Grange (qv) Corfe CP, now dwelling. Mid C19, enlarged early-mid C20. Rendered over rubble, patterned clay tile roof to octagonal pyramid roof with pinnacle and decorative bargeboards, clay tiles to wings with asbestos slates,tall external stone stack adjoining north-west corner of octagonal room, brick stack east. L-plan with octagonal room facing west onto driveway, L-plan addition east end with subsidary north entrance. Picturesque Tudor Gothic style. Single storey,2 tall pointed arch windows with cast iron leading and hoodmoulds flanking entrance,trelliswork wooden porch,original door, 3-light Tudor arch head windows in room set back to right (south), left return fronting road another similar window, gabled addition of one and a half storeys with subsidiary entrance.
