5/81 Brookside House (Formerly listed as No 26 (Brookside) 21/3/68 GV II
House. Circa 1700, remodelled in late C19. Stuccoed stone and slate roof with catslide over outshut to left at rear. 3-unit lobby entrance type ; left-hand unit divided into 2 rooms with corner fireplaces. 2 storeys. Large stuccoed stepped ridge stack above door off-centre to lef. 3 windows to first floor; C19 metal mullioned and transomed casements, 2 ground floor windows to left with segmental heads. 3- panelled double doors (with upper panels glazed) beneath stack between first and second windows from left; C19 gabled wooden porch with seats. Interior: boarded ledged doors; staircase in outshut at rear of stack.
