House and shop. Early or mid C16 timber frame with a late C17 gabled rear extension and a mid C19 painted brick front. Plastered S elevation to Fish Street. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys. 1 1st floor flush sash window with moulded frame. C20 shop front. Interior of shop has heavy C16 beams and joists. Long dragon beams, each S-shaped on plan. Rear wing has a large C17-18 red brick lateral chimney stack on its N side. The house was formerly part of an inn.
