House, formerly 2 cottages and stable. C17 and C18. Coursed rubble,
stone slate roof. Direct entry with stable to left and earliest cottage to
centre. 2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Stable and original 2 cottages
divided by straight joints. To left: stable with board door and fixed
window. Central cottage: 3-fielded-panel door in massive chamfered stone
surround with casement in enlarged window opening to left and fixed window
in chamfered stone surround with evidence for former mullion to right.
Right end cottage: half-glazed panel door in doorcase with pulvinated frieze
and cyma cornice. Plate glass sash to right. First floor: 2 fixed windows
to stable, casements in chamfered stone surrounds with evidence for former
mullions to central cottage, one plate glass sash and one 9-pane unequal
sash to right end cottage. Gable coping with shaped kneeler to right. End
and ridge stacks.
