TL 11 NW HARPENDEN RURAL KINSBOURNE GREEN (west side) 2/93 Walls to two adjacent gardens including mullioned window, in grounds of Annables Manor. GV II

Mullioned window of former manor house built into a flint rubble garden wall. Probably early C17. 5 rectangular lights with ovolo-moulded stone mullions and frame. Slots for glass or shutters in centre. Wall beneath has a moulded brick plinth. C17 walled enclosure to NE, probably on foundations offormer house, its NW side with red brick buttressing. Larger walled garden to SW with taller C18 red brick walls on same side as the window and on the NW side; C19 flint and mauve brick wall on SW. (RCHM 1910).
