3/14 Tomb of John Turner in churchyard, approximately 10 metres south of south east corner of Church of St Martin GV II
Chest tomb. 1738. Limestone. Oval inscribed plaque on rectangular face with shell motifs in the corners, flanked by fluted pilasters carrying moulded slab. Inscription: "Erected to the memory of John Turner, servant at Castle Howard who departed this life April 8th 1788 aged 59 years".
