GV II
Barn, converted to dwelling, and stables. C18 or early C19, converted C20. Timber frame, weatherboarded, some stock brick walling. Tiled roofs. 4 bay barn has a hipped midstrey in 2nd bay from road away from house, flanking lean-tos. Double doors oppose midstrey, inserted windows, 3 lower 2 light casements, 2 upper fixed windows. Gable end to road has a glazed door and casements. Inserted stack at end away from road in a lean-to. This end attaches to stable range running at right angles towards house. 3 or 4 bays with bay nearest barn of stockbrick with an entrance and a horizontal sliding sash with cambered heads. To left a stable door, horizontal sliding sash, small casements. Gable end loft door. Rear lean-to. Interior: barn has straight braces from posts to tie beams, angled struts to lower purlins, queen struts to collars clasping upper purlins.
