Details

1. 5363 SUNNYSIDE

Nos 7 and 8 ST 7747 SE 12/148 (formerly listed 31.1.74 under Culver Hill as Nos 7 and 8 II (Sunnyside)

2. Probably mid-late C18. 3 storeys and attic. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings, chamfered quoins and plinth. Band over ground floor. Cornice and blocking course (now eaves). Double saddle pantile roof, mansarded to rear. 2 gabled dormers. 2 end chimneys, the right hand one has moulded capping (probably not original). 3 windows in flat surrounds with outer ogee mouldbq, cross-glazed sashes, outer ones paired. Central doorcase, panelled pilasters to curved consoles supporting pediment, fluted panel to frieze. ½-glazed door. Narrow door to right with matching surround. Interior of No 7: ground floor north room has Adam-type fireplace with historiated frieze and ceiling cornice of palmettes. Late Georgian stairs with curved rail on lower steps and adossed 1st baluster.
