GV II Pair of semi-detached cottages, now one dwelling. Possibly C17, largely rebuilt late C19. Local stone random rubble, plain clay tile roof, central lateral stack with triple ridge tile bread oven projection to right, stone stack rising from eaves end bay left with full height buttress. Plan: original plan not clear without internal inspection, 3-cell at present. Two storeys, 4 bays; C20 2-light casements, full height buttress between first and second bays left, ground floor left 3-light below wooden lintel, double Roman tiled gabled rustic wooden porch beside lateral stack, similarly tiled pentice porch on lattice brackets to right, entrance blocked with C20 window, another 2-light casement below wooden lintel to right. Abutting, lower independantly double Roman tiled roofed wing, one and a half storeys with single window end right, lit gable end. Rear elevation entirely late C19 with brick jambs to square window openings. Interesting example of C19 restoration with attractive front and utilitarian rear elevation. (Photographs in NMR).
