GV II

House. C15 probable origin. A timber framed hall house with south cross wing, the north cross wing added in the C17. Brick infill. Roughcast and plastered. South cross wing gable end oversails low ground floor. Machine tile steeply pitched roofs. Axial chimney stack added in hall space abutting side of south wing in C17 when 1st floor was inserted. 3 glazing bar sash windows, mostly replacements of early C19 originals. Original rectangular bay window below overhang. North gable end with small early-mid C19 shop window having console frieze and shallow cornice. Doorway next to overhang with flat hood on long shaped brackets. C15 part has crown post trusses.
