GV II

House, now 3 dwellings. Late C15 or early C16. Floored, heated and extended C17. C18 refronting, altered C19. Timber frame, stuccoed brick front. Steeply pitched old tiled roof. Single ended hall house: 2 bay hall with solar and service wing to left. 2 storeys. Ground floor: 3 doors, 3 C19 sashes all with cambered heads and in reveals. To left of entrance to No. 12 a horizontal sliding sash appears as part of No. 10 (q.v.). First floor similar windows. Plinth to No. 12. C20 pargetting. Crude eaves cornice. Main stack to front of ridge between 2 hall bays. Left end external stack rebuilt. To rear of No. 12 C17 cross wing extension. C19 lean-to additions to rear. Interior: crown post roof, arched braces from jowled posts to cambered tie beams. Ground floor chamfered binding beams.
