FLAUNDEN FLAUNDEN TL 0100 (North side) 11/112 Nos. 103, 104 and 105 26.1.67 (formerly listed as No 103, No 104, No 105)

GV II

House, now 3 houses. C17 or earlier. Timber frame with red brick infilling. No.103 on W refronted with red brick after demolition of long front wing shown extending to road on Tithe Map of 1838. Steep old red tile roof hipped at W end. A long 2 storeys building facing S set back some way from road. No.103 at W end has 2 windows to each floor and battened door on LH. 2- and 3-light casement windows with lattice leaded glazing and iron opening light. Segmental arches to ground floor. No.104 in middle has a brick ground floor with full height bay-posts and a 4-light flush casement window to each floor with plank door on LH. Lobby entry next a large internal chimney. Wide-spaced story-height studs. No.105 has a 2-storeys rear wing, an internal chimney rising through front roofslope, one window to each floor, and E gable has exposed frame of clasped purlin roof with large plastered panels. Brick casing below tie-beam.
