6.10.69 Hawsker Cottage
GV II House, probably late C18. fine herringbone-tooled coursed sandstone; pantiled roof with stone copings and kneelers. 2 storeys and attic, 2 bays. Off-centre replaced 4-panel door under shallow, flat bracketed hood. Left 8-pane early C19 sash, right 24-pane fixed window with central opening section. First floor an 8-pane and two 12-pane sashes irregularly placed, the latter in wood architraves and all with projecting stone cills. Yorkshire sash in flat-headed dormer. Block peelers to gable copings.
