- II
House. Early C19 with mid- and late C19 and mid-C20 alterations and additions. Stuccoed brick with two-span slate roofs behind parapet; large brick stacks. Two storeys and attic with entablature. 4:1:4 bays; giant clasping pilasters at ends and also pilaster between eighth and ninth bays; pediment above bays one to four and six to eight; bays one to three have a ground and first floor 12-pane sash; fourth bay has a tripartite ground floor and first floor sash; sixth and seventh bays have a ground floor 20-pane sash and a first floor 16- pane sash; eighth bay has a ground and first floor 16-pane sash; north bay has blind openings on both floors; fifth bay has a two-storey porch wing with parapet and giant clasping pilasters; on first floor there is a 9-pane sash and from the ground floor projects a Doric distyle portico; the doorcase within has a round-arched head, flanking pilasters and a large half-glazed door. Interior: to rear left is a large open well staircase with turned balusters and turned newels with ball finials. Stair hall has mid-C19 ceramic tiled floor. A large two-storey wing adjoins to left side and is not included.
