Details
KEMERTON CP - SO 9436 - 9536 12/68 Barn about 10 yards north-east of Cadeau Cottage and Rohan Cottage GV II
Barn. C17 with late C20 alterations. Part timber-framed with brick infill on limestone rubble base, part limestone rubble with plain tiled roof. Four bays aligned north/south, wagon bay situated in third bay from north end and has opposing cart entries, blocked to east side and with double doors to west side. Framing: two rows of square panels from sill to wall-plate (end walls are rubble). There are two windows on the east side of the north bay. Interior: roof has three replacement king-post roof trusses and two tiers of trenched pur- lins. The barn is situated between Cadeau Cottage and Rohan Cottage (qv) and Farthings (qv). Included for group value.
