ORLETON CP COMBERTON SO 4967 10/92 The Cottage
- II
House. C17, remodelled early C19, restored mid-C20. Timber-frame with painted brick infill, extended in painted brick, with machine-tile roof. Two framed bays aligned north/south, extended to south. Chimney stack to south gable of timber-framed portion with brick shaft. East front of two storeys with two 3-light casements. Ground floor has three C20 oriels, that to right in gable end of C20 porch. Framing: two square panels high to first floor with straight angle braces. North gable truss has three struts to collar with king-post above and trenched purlins.
