KINGS SOMBORNE MARSHCOURT SU 3533 13/11 Sun-Dial in centre of S court 10m S of S door of Marsh Court GV II Sun-dial. Circa 1900 dial by Pilkington and Gibbs, on pedestal by E L Lutyens. Stone plinth and pedestal to bronze sun dial. Hexagonal plinth to round column with continuous inlaid bronze spiral pattern. Square abacus with sophisticated sun-dial device mounted on it.
