House, now disused offices. c1800, with late C19 and late C20
alterations. Brick with painted left return and ashlar
dressings, with gabled and hipped slate roofs and a side wall
stack. Moulded eaves cornice, renewed in wood at the front.
Single coped gable at rear. 3 storeys; 4-window range. 3
windows to left boarded-up, that to right reglazed. Above, 4
smaller top hung casements. All these windows have brick flat
arches. Central wooden doorcase with enriched plasters and
pediment. Round arched panelled opening with C20 door and
blank fanlight. To right, a late C19 wooden shop front with
pilasters and round topped brackets to wooden cornice. Opening
blocked and smaller window inserted, now boarded-up. To left,
the remains of a similar shop front, also with a boarded-up
window.
