2 attached houses, No.130 to the left is now offices. Mid C19. Stucco with crested slate roof, cream brick stacks to rear gable ends and central valley, pitched stone coping, finials, pendants and moulded kneelers to gables. Each house is L-shaped plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range to the entrance fronts, No.128 faces north and No.130 faces south. Windows have Tudor-arches and margin panes to each light and square overlights with margin panes and an inverted Tudor arch to the base of the central pane. No.130 has C20 windows except to the ground-floor right. The gabled central ranges are stepped slightly forward, each with a corbelled-out 2-light casement oriel window above a label mould to a Tudor-arched door with narrow vertical panels. The ranges to the north have a label mould over a 2-light casement window to both floors. To the south the L-shape steps back and in the angles are slate verandahs which project and extend across the east fronts, facing Taunton Road. The east facades each have a gable with a pointed-arched slit window of 3 panes to the apex, a label mould to a 2-light casement window on the first floor and a 3-light canted bay under the verandah. The stacks, above a string course, have separate shafts and moulded cornices. INTERIOR of No.130: polychromatic tile floor to hall, closed-string staircase with stick balusters and swept rail. Panelled shutters to canted bay of ground-floor left room which has Georgian-style wooden fireplace with cornice, cushion moulding and keystone; late C19 tile inset imitates brick with stone quoins. Room to left has French windows and Georgian-style fireplace with eared architrave. Picture rails.
