Monument to Benjamin Disraeli, Earl of Beaconsfield. Erected in 1884 by the Ormskirk branch of the Primrose League. Painted sandstone pedestal, limestone statue. Square pedestal approx. 3m high, with moulded base and cornice, and lettered panel in west side. Over-life-size standing figure of Disraeli holding a scroll in his left hand. HISTORY: purchased second-hand from another Lancashire town, with money left over from various flag days.
