GV II
Vicarage, now private dwelling. c.1851, slightly altered. Sandstone ashlar, slate roof. Slightly irregular rectangular plan under 2-span roof. Tudor Gothic style. Two storeys and attics, 1:2:1 windows, with gable to left and short projecting wing to right with coupled small and large gables. This wing incorporates the porch, which has a segmental- pointed arched doorway with a hoodmould, a 2-light mullioned window above, and a blank shield in the gable; and to the right the main gable of the wing has 6-light mullion-and-transom windows at ground and 1st floors, and a one-light attic window. The short main range has a 2-centred arched stair-window with tracery and stained glass, and a hoodmould with foliated stops; and the other windows of the facade are all mostly of 2 lights, mullioned. Left return wall has doorway at ground floor and 3 windows at 1st floor; right-hand return wall has, inter alia, a canted bay window; rear has, inter alia, a large rectangular bay window; all these windows in similar style. INTERIOR has dog-legged closed string staircase with turned balusters.
