SK20SW GLASCOTE ROAD, Glascote 670-1/4/34 (South side) 09/11/72 Walls, Piers, Railings and Gates to N and W of Cotford (Formerly Listed as: MAIN ROAD (South side) Gates and gate piers at Cotford)

GV II

Walls, gatepiers and end piers, railings and gates. Early C19, extended to right mid C19. Brick with ashlar and cast iron. Low stone-coped walls with ramped ends adjoining octagonal piers with 2 tiers of round-headed panelling, cornices and urn finials; railings of hairpin form; central paired gates with decorative finials. Higher stone-coped wall to right side of front garden extends back to Cotford (q.v.) (but not attached), with short trefoil-headed railings.
