GV II

House, now 2 shops. Early to mid C18, with C17 core. Painted brick; tile roof. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic; 5-window range. Central forward break and end pilaster strips; dentilled brick frieze over ground floor and top dentilled brick frieze and coved cornice. Ground floor has mid C20 shop fronts with marble plinth and black glass fascia; recessed entrances have glazed doors with decorative glazing bars. 1st floor has segmental-headed windows with rubbed brick arches over 8-pane horned sashes, the central window blind; attic has 2 gabled dormers. Rear has some C17 brickwork and later rebuilding; rebuilt single-storey gabled wing. INTERIOR: some chamfered beams.
