Shop and dwelling. C19 front to C16 or earlier building; C17, C18, C19 and C20 alterations. Render; old plain tiles. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range: C20 casements under cambered heads; 2 box-dormers with C20 casements. C20 shop front; to left, square-headed opening to passage to rear, with chamfered ceiling beams. Left returned side rendered; rear range roughcast with some surviving stucco; evidence of timber-framing, including possible jetty; C20 dormers, lights, entrance, and mansard roof; late C19 porch with 4-panel door to rear cross-wing, which has roughcast and weatherboarded gable, under corrugated-asbestos roof. To rear: storeyband; 4/2: 4/2 sash under segmental arch; C18 brickwork; large purlins; steep pitched roof (as to front range). INTERIOR: late C19/early C20 stick baluster staircase from 1st to 2nd floor. Roof: medieval, raised C18? 2nd floor: exposed ceiling beams. Ground floor: roll-moulded ceiling frames. Wing to rear: medieval jowelled post and close studding; some original roof structure, but C20 roof.
