Shop and dwelling,now shop.Medieval origins,(C16 and C17),and late C18 with C20 alterations.Painted brick;plain tile roof;C20 brick end stack.Four storeys;three window range:six/six sashes with old glass,under gauged brick flat arches,to first and second floors;three/three sashes(centre blocked) over;C20 restored parapet.C20 shop front.INTERIOR:contains extensive remains of C16 and C17 timber-framing and is of possible medieval origins.Basement is of medieval origin,with well-cut stonework and a medieval corbel.Stair wall from ground to first floor contains C17 wall painting and second floor room contains re-set linenfold panelling,(early C16).Various third and second floor rooms have reused panelling c1600.
