House, now Technical College Annexe and offices. Mid C19. Dressed stone; hipped Welsh slate roof; various dressed stone stacks with ashlar detailing. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and cellar; 3-window range: 2/2 sashes with cambered heads in moulded stone architraves; stone brackets to eaves. Central entrance: portico with entablature and balustrade on plain and fluted columns; 6 fielded panel door and blocked overlight; flanked by 2/2 sashes, with moulded hoods on scrolled consoles; quoins; moulded plinth. Right returned side: 3, 2/2 sashes, over sash and canted bay with casements. Left returned side: 2/2 sashes; stucco service-wing. Rear: central entrance: 6 fielded panel double doors with side lights; tripartite window with 1/1: 2/2: 1/1 sashes over; flanked by 2/2 sashes. INTERIOR: stone dogleg stairs with cast-iron balusters and moulded rail; to rear, winder stair with stick and turned balusters. Attic: winder stair. 1st floor: 4-panel doors with architraves; ceiling cornices; beaded arches; tiled utilities; slate fireplaces; wood fireplace; skirtings; marble fireplace; radiators; architraves to windows. Ground floor: tiled utilities; 4-panel doors with architraves; C20 wood fireplace; cornices, friezes and ceiling roses; marble fireplaces; panelled arch to bay; alcoves; picture-rails; coloured glass screen and double doors to hall. Cellar: 6-panel door; two 4-panel doors; plank doors; brick floors; stone and brick-lined; brick vaults.
